Utilising the advantage that our combined aerodynamics and vehicle dynamics experience brings to motorsport, we consider race car development with a tyre-centric approach. Understanding the interactions of vehicle systems and developing them to complement each other is our forte.
Operating at the cutting-edge of technical understanding, motorsport is a platform that we utilise for the focus it demands. Providing the opportunity to display real, tangible results through its practical nature, it has a unique way of inspiring innovation and advancing technology in a way like no other industries.
Achievements are measured as either success or failure. There's no better tool to qualify and demonstrate high level, applied engineering skill and we use our depth of understanding, enthusiasm and creative thinking to drive your championship goals. It's key to our mission as well as yours.

Tyre Development
Whichever track we're at, tyres always play a critical yet often misunderstood variable in the equation of performance.
Understanding your tyre operating window and how they degrade both mechanically and chemically as they age over a stint is the difference between being at the front of the grid, or the rear. In 2022 Wavey Dynamics formed a technical partnership with Thermolysis and Traction Research, the technology company specialised in developing advanced tyre modelling and characterisation techniques.
This partnership allows us to:
- Bring you the benefits of high fidelity thermo-mechanical tyre models to include real-time prediction of thermal effects, wear effects and chemical degradation for their effect on performance
- Physically measure viscoelastic properties trackside to quantify thermal operating windows and degradation over a stint
With this partnership and the addition of this technology into our consulting services, we further close the gap between the simulated world and the measured world.
Get in touch and we'll discuss how we can help you to the front of the grid.
