We're excited to launch a course focused on the fundamentals of vehicle dynamics for high-performance road and race vehicles.
Designed by people with academic experience and a strong foundation of fluid topics around fundamental concepts; complete spanning the significance of the car, our setting, we want to create a foundation for you to build on and the more advanced topics for your future work and studies.
Having access to a strong base of knowledge from which to build a more solid foundation in the field, you will have the support to continue.
If this course is suitable for you, will help and enable you to remain in vehicle dynamics, it will be a massive accomplishment.
What's Covered
This course is designed to cover all major topics within the field of vehicle dynamics, in a way that's comprehensive but not too dense, so you can comfortably stay engaged with the material throughout. We don't shy away from the physically intuitive.
Topics covered will include:
- Tyre Dynamics
- Weight Transfer & Wheel Loading
- Cornering
- Suspension & Kinematics
- Vehicle Aerodynamics
- Modelling & Real-World Vehicle Dynamics
Who It's For
This vehicle dynamics course is best suited to those who have an existing variety of scientific knowledge and want to expand or want to learn more about vehicle dynamics.
If you still have unanswered questions and you're not sure what's genuinely right for you, here's more about the kind of person it's most suitable to.
People who:
- are current university or college students on an engineering course
- have graduated with a bachelor's/master's degree in any engineering discipline
- have already worked or are currently working in motorsport or another scientific discipline
- are taking part in or thinking about a project relevant to vehicle dynamics
- have a professional engineering background and are currently working in an engineering field
- have a technical interest and want to learn more
Whatever your background or engineering experience, the majority of this course will be useful for you to get the best out of your future, in a remarkably useful way.
How It's Taught
The course is delivered by us through live seminars, so that we can come back and add to your understanding in person if needed for a number of weeks, but we can set the time to suit your preference.
All sessions will be hosted online, so you can stay at your home or office, and we'll continue our 1-on-1 with you over a couple of sessions, but we can set the date to suit your preference.
At the end of the course, you'll receive a customised set of notes for both your work and reference, and we'll continue to support you with future learning, opportunities to get yourself started in the industry.
